The Loyalhanna Watershed Association, based in Ligonier, is constantly seeking ways to make a difference throughout the entire watershed. From land conservation and protection in headwater areas, to restoration efforts downstream, there is never an idle moment for LWA staff. The wide variety of programs and projects all address the organizations overall mission. LWA projects fall into four basic categories: Water Protection, Land Protection & Conservation, Environmental Education, and Community Outreach.
