Seasonal Recycling

Recycling Efforts
Recycling has become a cornerstone program for the LWA. As the caretakers of the Ligonier Valley Recycling program, LWA oversees the recycling of paper, plastics, glass and aluminum each and every day, as well as newspaper, magazines, and plastic bags. Seasonal Christmas Tree Recycling takes place in January. In addition, LWA coordinates a unique household electronics program, recently awarded the "2005 Governor's Award for Environmental Excellence" by Department of Environmental Protection Secretary, Kathleen McGinty.

Community Recycling
The recycling center is located near the LWA Office along Lincoln Highway.
